Annual Dinner | TBD
Held in January, the Annual Dinner is an opportunity for the Chamber to update the Members and Community on the past year and future initiatives. The Chamber honors Individuals, Businesses and Teachers by awarding:
- Cornerstone Award
- Small and Large Business of the Year
- Teacher of the Year
- Innovation in Education Award
TGIF | 4th Friday of each month (May - August)
Public event held on the 4th Friday of each month from May - August. Featuring live music, beer and wine.
Shop Altavista | November 27th
Shop Altavista is a retail based effort to promote Shop Small, Shop Local, Shop Altavista. Shop Altavista is held the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
The Altavista Christmas Parade | December 4th
Whether a typical parade or a Reverse Parade like is 2020, the Parade goes on! Come visit Santa and Mrs. Clause, Floats by area businesses and churches, antique cars, and local fire departments. This annual tradition is held the first Saturday in December. Scheduled for December 4, 2021.
Holiday Mingle and Jingle | December 8th
Scheduled for regular board meeting – 2nd Wednesday in December. Opportunity to meet new Board Members and spread Holiday Cheer.

Take a load off at the end of a busy day by celebrating with other business owners and stakeholders. Perfect time to Network and introduce yourself and your company to other businesses. Held Each Quarter and hosted by a local business.
