Legislative Committee Mission

The mission of the Altavista Chamber Legislative Committee is to keep members up to date on the latest issues affecting businesses.

Legislative changes at the federal, state and local levels of government can all have an impact on the way our members conduct their daily business.  It is therefore important to be informed about proposed legislation, changes in tax laws and court cases that are related to business. 

If any members are aware of issues or information which may be relevant to our business community, please contact a member of the Legislative Committee so that we may add that information to this page and inform the other chamber members.
